While I am not a parent myself, I have worked with kids for the past 20+ years in various capacities. In my experience, parents – especially moms – don’t have a lot of margin to nourish their relationship with Jesus. We are all assaulted with busy schedules, the noise of technology, and the lies of culture. We know we ought to spend time reading the Bible and praying, but sometimes, just attempting to make a plan is overwhelming.
Only the indwelling Spirit of God can offer the transformational power to truly change and shape your mind, heart, and soul. However, I’d like to offer some tools to guide your journey.
Yoga was designed to prepare the mind and body for meditation. While our definitions of meditation differ, the concepts still work with our God-given design.
